First I have to start by thanking one person and one person alone about US Wheels and that person is Mark (FreebirtSRT). He showed up to the 1st Spring Fling (now Spring Festival) in his awesome looking Silver Steel 300C SRT8 with a set of black 22” on his car from a company that I never heard of. This is way back on March 25th 2006. Here is an image of his car and you can notice that my car is right behind his. Plus he is another one from his photo shoot at USW: So I had to go get a close up of those wheels. They were one of the best looking wheels I have ever seen on a LX. I told myself, I have to have these wheels. They just rock!!! I contact Mark and we chatted about them for a few months. I got the price for them and I said, well it looks like that is one mod that is going to wait for a bit. Then something happens to Mark’s wheels, they went through a change and I told myself that there is no way in hell that he can make them even better. But of course I was way wrong! Take a look at this: And now a closer look shows off the color matching wheel. This is the best ever!!! So after a few years past by and I have changed out my wheels from the stock RT w/black pockets: Then to the Charger SRT8 wheels: Then one more set of wheels. These are Vagare V14 – Smack 5: I was never truly happy with any of these looks. Don’t get me wrong, they are look nice but nothing like the USW’s that I really wanted. So now it is March 2009 and with some help from a few great people. I have saved up every nickel and penny and now I will be a part of the USW family. Here are a few pictures of the making of my USW Superstar in 20” form. You will noticed that I stole the look from Mark and went with a color matching version as well: Now here is some after powder coating: Here is a picture of the hoop and you should be able to tell that the entire hoop is done with a brushed metal look with a clear coat on top: Now after a look work on the center star to really make it pop: Once the wheels are put together and mounted to the car, I will take a ton of more pictures. www.uswheel.com to look at more wheels!!
