frank is you HID kit wired to your battery? if so can you do that with mine?

 

I got 6k HID's for my birthday from Cheryl! Installed them yesterday, holy crap the whole carport glows when you turn them on lol. They look great!

I didn't have a seperate red wire in the kit Cheryl got me. There was a total of (3) plugs... one red with a round plug, one black with a round plug, and one that plugs into the balast (these 3 were all just plug and play). Then mine had two other wires a black and blue on that I had to push through a connector plug, that connector plug then plugged into the stock harness. That's how mine was.

 

I dont, you dont have too until your lights start to flicker or are having trouble starting up. then you know that your wires arent keeping up with the power supply of the ballast. But once that start I can run a wire from the ballast to the battery. I think Jesus kit with the extra wire has the ability to do that also

congrats on the hid kit jesus. everyones getting these damn kits now. gonna have to compare yours and kevins to see which ones to get for my car. pretty much decided to get the black housed stock headlights.

 

Congrats on the HID's, that might be my next purchase. I'm back home now for Holidays, but I'm treating myself to new tires, mine are all shot to hell. 215/50/17 here I come!!!
