I don't think anybody but me has these, but I bought Yokohama Advan ST's....315 in the back and 275 in the front....i love em....they have 23,000+ on them and are still holding strong.....I run them at 38 PSI.....

I notice no extra noise that i wouldnt get from any other 315 size tire.....

Yeah, took spacers and some sheetmetal and plastic trimming clearancing on the inside of the fenderwells.....But, they made a 295 size when I bought them 2 years ago.....i dont think you need anything for the 295 size...Legmaker could tell you, he runs 295's........

I've been running the 295/40-20 RSA's on stock chromed rims for over 2 years.

just a little too much side wall rubber for my blood. i like the look of the 275/40/20 and i am currently installing some 275/35/20 michelin rubber on stock rims. to each his own. i don't think you can go wrong either way. get rid of the crapyear tires. seems like it would be a little to wide for a stock 9" rim. the advantages of going wider tire on this rim versus a 275 on the same rim seems moot. i think that based on the rim size that both the 275 and 295 would have the same contact patch area due to the 295 not being on a big enough rim.

and everything i just said could be wrong too. and that's the beauty of being an idiot.

    ZOMG we need to talk!

I want to get wider rears and throw the stock 255/45's from the rear to the front, will this work?

also, did you have to do any modification to your vehicle to fit 295/40's for the rear?? Any rubbing, did it throw off the speedo any (or is this only on the front wheels?), how's the ride and the handeling now with wider rears?

Discount tire just told me I could go with a 305? but that means I would have to go down to a 35 sidewall, good idea? or stay away?

I've got 255/295's both /45 on front and rear. I'm also ride height lowered 1.25/1.5 (KW v2's) respectively on stock wheels. It works. No issues with rub. No speedo issues, but I tuned my tire size into my Diablo too so I dunno if there's an issue without it. Toyo Proxes ST 2's. (Yes it's a truck tire)

So, 295/45 on the Rear, and 45 series on the front too? Didn't that raise the rear a bit? Since it seems like it will be a taller diameter?

So no rubbing, no modifications, right? Can you get me a good light picture of the rear end, showing those steamrollers? thanks!

Oh, and what tire did you end up going with?
