I havent driven it yet .. the car is still in the garage for a couple reasons ...

I want to check over my wiring before I close things up .. I want to arrange the wiring a little better for the cleanest install possible .. I have to put the dash back together and didnt feel like it yesterday .. I want to vacuum it out completely and clean the dash, shampoo the carpets etc.

It is currently up on a lift, I was installing new fog lights and going over my exhaust system for exhaust leaks etc .. while its on the lift I want to check out how easy/hard it would be to install a TC myself

Dynosteve sent me a new tune so I still have to load that too ..

After the winter we had, I am gonna clean the undercarriage a little .. its going for a professional detail on Friday too!

If this is going to be a 6 hour job I'll need a couple of 6 packs and a deck chair to direct things from. :beerchug:

    Haha, here's my resume:

I've already done the "am I pulling against a pull tab? or is there another hidden screw holding this in?" thing.

Like Anthony already said. Getting the 10mm bolt to loosen to get the steering wheel off, you will need a friend to help hold the wheel while you crank the bolt loose. I had a neighbor come over and help me hold/remove my steering wheel from my Charger. The reason the bolt is so hard to loosen is Dodge used a lot of thread locker on the bolt and you need to put some muscle behind it to get it to crack. Just make sure you use some new thread locker when you go to put the steering wheel back on the car.

Thanks for the tip bro, appreciate it!! Funny, I thought I'd be doing this install alone but I've now got 4 friends that want to come by and help, lol, gonna turn it into a mini m&g I guess!!

BTW your other thread on these paddles is what REALLY got me to do this (and Anthony too I think), thanks!!! :thumb:

8 hands are better than 2,lol.

You are most welcome, glad my thread inspired you. For the price, this has got to be the best mod, hands down, that I have done to my LX's in some time. The paddles are just so much fun to drive with. My set of paddles in the Bee are getting painted in yellow right now with black for the wording (Up/Down) on the paddles.

Take advantage of that Scott .. sounds like it will be a nice time!

Freebirds thread inspired me too .. I didnt inspire you! I just persuaded you not to be a pussy! lol!

yeah I hear that .. took me longer then 4 hours, but I am glad to say I did it myself (besides the wheel of course).

they were kicking some kids off the property, they were just skateboarding, but there have been a couple theft the past couple nights in our industrial park so the cops have the park on lock down at night basically
