I'd still run a taller tire than that. My Nitto's are 28.78. I ran consistent 1.65 to 1.68 60's and trapped 122 over 2 years ago with exhaust, mild cam, and a 100 shot.

Yea, but is that monster 325 gonna fit in the wheel well and not rub on the shock towers?

Not to make you worry John but in the Summit catalog they recommend an 11" rim with these.

Probably will depend on the offset of the Mustang wheels. Might need a spacer.

I had the Cobra R rims and it was close with the 305's. If John gets these to fit, I am all over them. haha

John, I read on a Mustang forum that they fit fine on a 17x9 cobra rim. I'm interested too if these fit in the wheel wells.

There is a thread going on over on the LX Forums about DRs and guys say that the M&H 325/17 do fit witout spacers. Really, the tread width seems to be less than a normal 325/17 and I guess that is why they would fit without rubbing. Some of those guys are using them and really seem to like them. The M&H 325/18 has 1" more tread width and I would think that it would be the same as the 325/17 but it's not.

Whether they should be used on a 9" wheel is another question. The M&H website says that they can be. I e-mailed M&H and the answer back was 9" wheel is fine. Inferal called them and got a different answer, something like "I can tell you what you want to hear or I can tell you that I would recommend at least a 10" wheel." (you can read all about it in the thread).

Here are a couple of threads that talk about these tires:
