Yeah I was guessing the same thing, don't want it going right into the hitch. The hitch is cheap from Jeff at Mopar Supercenter/Hendrick Dodge, along with the exhaust. They are a great supporting vendor here.

if my .02 are ok ...

I am not a mustang guy, but you can mod the shit outta them and theres your performance ... you are also stuck with a 2 door and a ride that you can really enjoy 8 months outta the year because of the weather.

the GC is a beast .. we know they are moddable/superchargable with some juice your in the low 11's .. AWD offers the ride all year round and you can drive around your family/friends or have room for some back seat lovin ..

the challenger speaks for itself and with the 6 spd in the 09 .. I would go this root .. the mustangs are just not as attractive as the challengers and if you go with the chally .. they arent a dime a dozen you know?

the SRT10 Quad Cab is the other way to go .. it will give you a balance of performance and convenience, and you can pull a trailer with it im sure .. less moddable, but you have a V10 .. that should speak for itself .. they only thing that bothers me is I think the SRT10 QC comes stick .. I dont like a truck in stick, for me its always harder to tow with a stick ...

The chally VS mustang GT was brought up because I had read an article that said the chally was = to the mustang GT, I also stated if that was true then I am not interested in the chally.

I guess it really boils down to what you are looking for as all the rides on the list are pretty different

Cindy has an 08 Mustang GT/CS. Definately way more bang for the buck, and it's a blast to drive. You can do 15K in mods and still be under the price of the SRT8's. Mods cost way less. We've got a CAI, cat-back, UD pulleys, and a SCT dyno tune and tuner. Less than 2K in mods. It will give a stock SRT8 all it can handle.

We love 2 DR cars. The doors are wider. We don't carry anyone with us in the Mustang. We've got a Honda Pilot for that.

If price is an issue. The Mustang is a great option.

Are you sure its wassnt the gt500 I saw an artical about that a while back never a GT. I dont even se why they would make a artical abou tit the SRT8 would kill a stock gt in everything but pricing.

second I convinced my budy who is in construction and needed a truck out of a srt10 and in to a jeep. he tows with it brings his tools around its everything he needed plus a sick looking ride with AWD. Plus a blower from vortech as already proven it makes great power and amazing track times.

If I was in your shoes I would find a used jeep for 23k drop a 426 in it and call it a day.
