295's will be to wide. You need to go with a 265 on a 9" rim.

I've seen it done before, but I'm sure it had issues. That's just too wide for those rims and too wide for the front. On those rims, I got money says it will hit the upper ball joint stud.

You could always try steering limiters, like the '03-'04 Cobras have.

Don't do it. The 295's would work OK in the rear, but not the front. I'm using 295/40-20's on the rear on my car, works fine with the 9" witdth. Staggered looks better anyway.

yeah, i drove my uncles c4 lingenfelter that ran 335s front and rear. i didnt like the turn radius at all, though the grip was out of this world going into a corner.

It has already been done. Israel works at a wheel and tire show and is the guru on getting big tires to fit. I believe all he did was roll the front fenders to get them to fit. He is running 295/30/22 on all 4 wheels on a 300 and lowered with Eibach springs.

Yea, but I bet you those 295's are NOT mounted on a 9 inch rim. 9.5 or a 10 inch, but not a 9 inch. If he did, the rubber would be rolling over the lips like a beer belly does to a belt...
