I usually blow a 5A fuse with mis-spellings, esp. in thread titles.
In this case, I'm thankful. Once this thread dies, it'll remain dead because it won't come up in any searches.

For the record, I wouldn't buy a cup of dirt from JH.

Someones paying his bills, Which tells me theirs a large untapped market out there he is taking advantage of, Same as that gs or whatever company, They must run ads in magazines and such, On one hand there customers pay there bills, otoh there customers dont have internet access? Big spenders with no brains, Something dont add up! Im constantly bewildered by this phenomena.

I am with you on that Trojan. The big spenders don't seem to hang on the forums/net very much. They just go by the name and drop off there car. I was at JH shop a month ago and there must be more than 20 Chally's there getting worked on. He may have a bad rep. but his shop/garage is constantly full of all kind of cars. For whatever reason the magazines love JH and test his cars all the time and the well to do see the article and send there cars to him.

First off, I was NOT at the 08 Shindig. Secondly, the only ones who have commented about James have VERY GOOD reason...

There is no key board warrior stuff going on here. lol

James made his bed on the forums long ago with many of us. His bad attitude, chip on his shoulder, thinks he is better than every one else, and anger management issues has given James a bad reputation. Is all I am saying...

Personally I have nothing against James other than what I mentioned above. James will need to do some serious apologizing and mending before others start to respect or trust him again. JMO...

Just goes to show you if your golf game is good and you got a major entertainment allowance, your golden in anyones book.

Welp, I sure as hell wasn't one of those guys. It was best that James and I stayed on opposite ends of the building and the hotel. Tell the little arrogant prick I send him by best.

Edit: I'll answer your statement about why nothing was said, at least by me. Our MnG's are supposed to be friendly events. It was kept that way on purpose by myself, I had already said my say both publically and privately to him, but I can't speak for anyone else. If he had such a problem with it, he was more then welcome to come talk to me about it too.

Also remind the nimrod that if he ever comes back to these forums, he best have a fat wallet to pay back those he burned.

And if he would like to discuss my statements here or in the past. I'll be at the Shingdig again, just like last year.

I think both GS and HPE are good businessmen, they seem to be keeping their shops full...meaning they market effectively to their target market and have more happy customers than unhappy. Think about it this way, both companies do business in the Middle East alot, and those that have been there or have experience with Middle Eastern people know they don't like getting screwed by anyone.

Alot of companies don't realize creating a good product is not even half of the equation of having a profitable business. Metaphorically its like the saying: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. These guys know where to market, who to market to, and how to market.

I would not call them "Good" businessmen. lol They certainly know how to Market, but that does not mean they are good.

And you should check again, most of the Middle Eastern guys HAVE been burned by GSM, but fast talking gets these guys out of trouble with their contacts and media (Magazine) people.
