Now its butt dialing and more and more offspring/kid-dialing... The only time Marc or I hear from friends any more its because one of their children got a hold of the cell phone and for whatever reason likes our speed dial number....wth??

Nothing is as much fun as saying "hello?" to a dead phone with the sounds of nickelodeon and kids and parents fussing back and forth...or listening to your friend talk to whomever in the front seat of their car while junior's in the backseat rummaging through her purse...no..really...I love this... :chair:

Granted, Maddy's already got plans for all the electronics in our house...she's always trying to squirm/clamber/crawl toward either my insulin pump, the tv remote or the phone...

I got better than that Tam, wait till your kid calls 911 from home for no reason! Would ya like to know what happens?? I'll tell ya. First they have to teach your kid in kindergarten about 911 even tho the kid has no real understanding of it. So said child comes home and proceeds to pick up the phone and dial 911 and then hang up, laughing cause it was fun. Then 911 calls back and talks to wife who says everything is fine, kid called 911 on accident. Not good enough for 911 operator who dispatches police to said home. Police pull up in front of house, hands on guns, staring down daddy who's out front washing his car and has no idea WHAT IN THE HELL is going on assuming he's some kind of wife beater or child abuser!! Loads of fun.:mad2:

Hoo boy...it's a good thing 911 wasn't around when my brother was little...

That kid loved nothing better than stirring up trouble...and having the ability to call out that much firepower any time Mom didn't do what he wanted...well, let's just say...it'd get ugly. REALLY fast...

*note to self, be prepared for 911 education*

My daughter did that once, when she was 5, maybe 6.... luckily, we lived on the corner of Hicksville and BFE and it would have taken 45 minutes for the cops to show up had they been dispatched. I explained to the operator what happened and she said she "check things out"!!!!

I can laugh about it now but it wasn't funny when it happened, I mean I had NO clue what was going on ... it was a nice Saturday morning, I was out in the driveway washing the car minding my own business and then ... bam, up pulls a couple cops with hands on guns going, "Hello sir, could we talk to you for a moment?" (as if I had any choice, lol!) That was a day I'll tell ya, quite a day.:stars:

(btw Mrs. Ron, I love the BFE remark, I thought I was the only one that used that term anymore, glad to see I'm not alone, lol!)
