I'm having a tough time with this, so I'm going to leave it up to my friends here at the SRTConnection.

The differential cover is being powdercoated.

Here's a shot of the current diff. cover installed:

Depends on how clean you keep under the truck...if you keep it clean the red all the way on the right....

if not...the black all the way on the left

    Just my opinion :)

I say black...unless you are planning on adding a lot more red underneath.

Well I see that you have a black truck, blue and yellow shocks, a black sway bar... and not knowing the color of your wheels...

    I would have to say...

    Gloss Black single stage...

IMO over a long period the black will serve much better than red or silver. Since you'vd removed your cover and are having itpowder coating ....it's gonna leak.

I agree with Stevo, kinda depends on what else you're gonna do but in general you can never go wrong with black.

    Why?

If it is cleaned and re sealed the right way it will not leak. and I know captian OCD will do it the right way.

It's been removed twice so far, and 0.0 leaks.
The mating surface on the diff. cover will not be coated.

Wheels are the OEM 22" silver/polished aluminum.
Those are the OEM shocks (Bilstien). The machined aluminum shocks from the lowering kit I purchased from another site former vendor who's name starts with an "X-" don't even come close to fitting (as in, the rear shocks are for a 1st generation Chevelle).

Sorry folks, but I can't do any of the colors on the far right of the sample pics.
I keep the truck as clean as possible, but remember that it is a daily driver.

Other red large parts on the truck:
    - CAI tube
    - Throttle body
There are other small red accent pieces throughout.

I thought about leaving the (faux) cooling fins silver, but then I'd have to also do the support braces for the linear shock. Starts to get a little complicated and would look very uneven.

I know there are Photoshop pros out there. If you want to mock them up to help with the poll, feel free.

Thanks for all the votes thus far!
