LED 3rd brake light anyone? This is more of a prototype unit in which I proceeded making hoping for some good results, turns out... it came out awesome and works like a charm!!! Bright during the day and bright during the night! 10 LEDS were ordered and 9 were used for the pattern I drew up seen in the pics. I should have ordered more and worked with more but I wanted to "test" before putting in the full effort. Didn't want to go overboard and then have bad results. Its in its testing stages at this time. This is a prototype for the more I will be making :whistle:. I have my old aftermarket RX300 tail lights sitting here in which I might pry open and work with as well since no one has bought them. One thing at a time .

Since no one bought my RX300 tail lights... Project RX300 LED tail lights has gone underway. Just like the DEPO led tail lights these will have the Bulb style reverse light, brake light/turn signal will be LEDs, and the housing will be painted black with the safety reflectors intact.
Thanks Ryan! I try to stay different but as always I'm being copied. I don't mind someone doing the samething in another state but if its within a radius I'm around it sorta bothers me. If I see it on another color SRT-4 it doesn't bother me. But like my side graphics, I had a company make it in which they turned around and wanted to sell them on their website. No biggie, got my car on their website so its a plus. They have sold a few and I don't mind. I don't know if you noticed but another Flame Red in Lakeland has my same exact stripe (he was at the Gainesville event and convoyed with us)... what bothered me is the fact its the same color scheme as mine out of all colors their is out there to choose from. I must admit it kinda made me want to take mine off but then I told myself, "eh don't sweat it... you had it first it just shows he's a copycat". Hopefully these tail lights I'm working on don't get copied because I've yet to see any RX300 LED tail lights :grin:.
I did see the car with the other graphic...confused me at first becuase I thought it was you. I enjoy being different...hence the custom painted Nex-0's and custom BBK. Keep me posted on the tails...wondering if we could do something with a set of stockers?!?!?!?
Yes sir! Definately like your wheels, my wife pointed to the SRT logo and I pointed to the brakes. Very unique! I have begun painting the tail light housings gloss black. The template for the leds has been cut and drilled. Once I finish more coats of gloss black I'm going to put the reflectors back in place. Will keep you posted! Stock tail lights wouldn't be a problem to work with and something can be done with them. What makes it nice and more unique is coming up with a template/led design. I will be working on some 3rd brake light ones in the stock 3rd brake light housings. I have (2) different pattern templates I have made.
