John, Adam's car also has heads, cam, custom tune...and an intake?? Hell, there are multiple HHP guys getting their cars in the 11's with that combo alone. No one has proven that the said blower is producing a great bang for the buck on the LX platform all by it's lonesome. When someone does it with a stock block, blower, tune, half shafts, and drag radials....I STFU! :hug:

Actually his tune is no where near even close since the tuner said hes out of fuel and cant go any farther...and intake???you really didnt look to closely did you bro The only person out of the sd crew with the vortech cold air kit was me Also, and I may be wrong, but not one of the Heads/cam cars is running any where near what I put down for numbers...I seem to remember a good number being 450 rwhp with a good combo where i put down 510 with 500 tq...now if we can get ralph to run someone since he has lsd but no slicks Im sure you will see the diff

Kurt Wagners GS Jeep went 0-100 in 9.5 seconds......i do 8.3

FASTSRT8GC ran an 11.4............on nitrous with heads/cam/headers....the works

So find me another supercharged Jeep Srt8.....with a 6.1....no nitrous that is FASTER

I ran a 12.1 starting in 2nd gear....start looking for somebody who even ran that B4 you contest my 11.5 son

Making power and putting it to the ground is two different things. Peak HP and real world HP are different also. A dyno run has many variables. That's why the only thing I can truly beleive is a proof in the numbers at a drag strip. If a car isn't setup to put the power to the ground, it can easily be beaten by a car with much less HP.
It's not that I don't think a SC car of any kind can't make the HP, it's just a matter of how much boost. Stock motors on boost are on borrowed time unless they run very conservative boost. It's a matter of time before more of the recently SC'd cars will start having casualties. I think I read about one over on LX recently.

Ah but I have never said any different. I have also tried to teach you that different cars are built for different things. You can have a car thats built for top end that cant beat a stock civic 0-60. The drag strip is only an equalizer if thats what the car was built for...I have assisted in the build of a car that would own an 1/8 but wouldnt run a full 1/4...6.66 gears make a beast off the line if it hooks

Once again I have always stated traction issue > hp you resolve traction and apply the power to the ground and you have a winner...Once again the vortech cars were all having issues under 60 but from 60 up they run like champs...proof now that the jeep runs 11.5s with no traction issues. It all comes back to where the car is meant to run.

I made the decision to switch to a techco setup since I wanted more low end and by doing this I knew I would have to resolve the traction issues as well Guess whats coming when the cars back

Now find me a car with heads/cam lsd/shafts and run them against Ralph who currently isnt running his nitrous but has the lsd and shafts and i bet ralph does just fine

Hal I wish you and I could have hooked up for some playing before my car went in because I still feel you would have owned me off the line with the TQ and lsd but from 60 up I bet you would have been really surprised We will never get to do this cause my entire setup is now changing.

 

John, I still made 505/506 NA, and the torque curve is very similar to SC cars, actually we overlayed it at GSM.
So, if I make the same power, and have a good head start, I don't see how a car with equal power could run me down. From a dead, no contest, from a roll, you might be able to pull me some. That's why they call it bench racing John. LOL
