I finally received and installed the Mondello Wet Flowed Heads. Upon opening the box both myself and my LX car buddies couldnt take our eyes off the reworked combustion chambers. They are simply a work of art! Upon removing the Stage 2 heads the block revealed deep gouges at the 12oclock position of 4 cylinders...I was not happy...... but shes making power so.....thats for another discussion about strokers. I redata logged and promptly sent the results off to Bob at SVS. He let me know the tune had now significantly changed. I went with a second preliminary tune because time was running out and my appointment on the Intergrated Performance DTS dyno was scheduled for this morning at the same time as last weeks baseline run.

Judge for yourself by reviewing the attached dyno sheets. Quite an improvement for just changing the combustion chamber a tad.

Like I stated in a previous thread, the DTS doesnt throw the big numbers a Dyno jet provides. This dyno really loads the engine down and you can hear it grunt. I've been around the so called "awesome" tuners:whistle: and watched the old Dyno Jet model spin its bearings to a frenzy!

There is no doubt when Bob receives the data logs from the dyno and subsequent run back home the HP/TQ will rise, but for now, having a naturally aspirated Jeep clicking 500hp with a 22% drive train loss is nothing to be ashamed of..LOL!!

The test was with conducted with 91 octane unleaded fuel at 188-190 degrees coolant temp.
