hey guys and gals just wanted to know if 500 flywheel HP is possible with bolt ons so far i have a jba catback exhaust, afe cai, predator, and a 180* T stat my next mods will be catless mids from hhp, underdrive pulley, and a ported tb also a tune CMR to match everything up... Do you think that will be 500 hp thanks
I think you fall short of the 500 FWHP with what you have listed. Add P&P Heads/Intake and a mild cam and you will be there.
is Flywheel HP the same as BHP?....or is it more like RWHP? cause with the 18% drivetrain loss of power...you would need to dyno at roughly 410hp to = 500BHP right?.... I know that at least 1 SRT8 has dynoed at 410WHP with simple bolt on mods as I was there for it haha...i might be misunderstanding the question though cause i usually do lol....500WHP i would say oh god yeah you would need more good stuff like heads/cam and stuff like that im sure i was of no use at all to this but thought i'd contribute something LOL
Im at 400 at the wheels so what would my flywheel HP be? Im sure when I steal Stevos Vortech ill be at 500+ at the wheels and above that at the flywheel!
Im trying to do that also, but with all the F/I options now it is becoming REALLY HARD, my will power is starting to bend a tad.

Based on Tony's numbers(400RWHP) and he doesn't have high-flow cats,85MM TB, or the underdrive pulley I think its entirely possible. The 3 I just listed are worth at least 15-20 RWHP combined.
