So I just got off the phone with MotorWeb, and they've told me it won't be until after Christmas for shipment. That's be a full 3 months since ordered. Is there any other vendor that you guys know about to get them shipped any faster? Please let me know.
All the ranting on about these tires has made me impatient. That and the lack of tread on my F1's. :erm:

I've got 18K on the Vred's and they still have a little left in em. I'm going to the track on the 28th. They'll be f'd after that for sure.

Howard drives like a dick so you can't use him as a gauge for tire wear.!! :moon:

Can we fit 315/35's in the back (obviously in the rear, lol)? I'd like a nice wider set... 275's are too small.

and 275's do fit on the front, right?

    Sure did.

    Oh hell ya!.

It's close, but it worked with the offset that was discussed earlier in this thread.

    Thanks Howard.

So here are my thoughts so far. I now have almost 3K miles on them. Great tire, takes a while for them to heat up and get sticky. But once your aware of that, they stick real good. And I'm super impressed with how well they work in the rain..WOW!!. Now I just need a track day to see how they are there and then I'll decide if this is the ultimate set-up for thse heavy rides.

Great tires guys, thanks to everyone for the advice!.

I saw you're running 315's but unsure of your rim width. I'm running the stock $250 option Aluminum SRT rims with a 9" width. I'm assuming you're running an aftermarket 10" - 10.5"rim to fit a 315 with the +20 offset.

I simply want the widest tire that will fit on my SRT 9" rims. 315's are 12.5" wide, a 295 is pushing 11.8" wide, while a 275 is only 11" wide (and very do-able).

Another option for me is to buy a pair of used 20" srt rims and send my stockers out for widening (1" to 1.5") to fit some 315's (especially knowing that the tire fits in general, providing the proper offset is in place).

Hell, if I had the balls, I'd throw another 1" on the backside and install the used 345's in my storage unit from my old Viper (but they only have about 1k more tread than my bald stockers now). That's just too much money (translation: divorce attorney) to risk though if the rim & tire didn't fit.

    Thom,

You can borrow my 20's when you send yours out for widening.

I wanted to add to the stockers at first. To get the most width you need to add in both directions as you illuded to. The only way I can see to add to the front would required returning and refinishing, to expensive for me.

Seriously? That'd be super cool! I'll call Weldcraft and see what their turn-around times are running. I'm thinking 1.5" - 2" should do it but I need to measure b/c they add to the backside (which is cool because nobody will see the cut through the powdercoat). Of course this is all pending the matriarch's approval, lol.

    Yea buddy.

Shoot Legmaker a PM. Chris had his rear tires widened to 11" and was done perfectly. Chris can give you his hook up as they have widend a few rims from the LX platform.

Ya gotta give me a couple more weeks though as I sold my 22's and am waiting for my new rims to be made. lol

price update - looks like the new year raised the prices a little.

I paid $745 shipped from LA Tire (Ebay vendors - cleaningoutthegarage & got3bay, they're a father and son team).

Prior to the new year, their price was $665 shipped, so it looks like they raised the prices $80 bucks. This was for (4) 275/40/20's Ultrac Sessentra's (sp?).
