Ralph (MOL) installed my paddle shifters today and did an incredible job. He did it for a great price and the quality of the work is top notch. I should have had him or Adam do my rear strut tower brace...LOL. I was concerned after reading a few horror stories over at LX about the paddle shifters not setting well and falling out. Ralph's installation is rock solid and are worth every penny. I'd have to say this will probably be my favorite mod to date! These things should be standard from the factory. Anyone thinking about doing this should do it! Thanks a lot Ralph!

Did you get a wiring harness from PLCMAN? Did you get the deluxe harness with the auxillary switch.... to control say....line loc, or the passenger ejection seat?

I got the $30 harness. It doesn't have the line locks etc. I figured "I" wouldn't use that one. Mine acts just like autostick. He has a more basic version that doesn't allow you to go back into drive via the paddles.

Didn't figure you would need the line loc function for road courses. (Unless there is maybe something else I could do with that switch??)

    I know you....
YOU are going to love those paddles!

Do you guys want actual pics of "my" install? Or should I copy some of the ones I've seen? The second choice wouldn't involve me getting out of my chair and leaving my rum and coke and percocet!

Haha...that would still involve me having to get up, get the camera, find the usb cable to download them, and do the tinypic thing......WAY too many steps! LOL

I think I have around 6 or 7 Percocets left. So, I should be back on track by Christmas day or the day after!

Yeah Ralph, AWSOME job! Rick called me yesterday while I was taking a shit and wouldn't let me off the phone because he was so excited about how nice it turned out... I had to pinch a loaf 9/16 too short because of the conversation... but if its as good as he says (and I believe him) it was worth it... even if that was the first crap I was able to take in peace in about 3 months.

I drove around all day getting Christmas dinner and put about 50 miles on the car. I didn't once NOT use the paddle shifters. Honestly, I don't think I'll drive the car in drive very often, if at all. They feel like they are meant for the car. AMG built some crisp, solid paddle shifters that's for sure. Ralph's install was solid and there is NO play what so ever. He has a demo steering wheel in his shop that he practiced on for proper fitment prior to doing the install.
