I guess my first question is can they be rotated? I would go check myself but I had knee surgery yesterday and starting the thread is easier! LOL

My car has around 40K miles with the slotted rotors. I'm not noticing any shaking. What sort of mileage are most getting with their rotors?

I got about 40 - 45k out of my rotors also .. plus you have to minus 6k for when I had my rotor TSB done .. so I had about 37k to 40k on those rotors .. I recently replaced them with GSM slotted/cross drilled dealies with new pads .. i think the total was like 7bills too ....

feedback .. well they cool very quickly .. when they are warm they are aggressive, cool takes them a second .. but I havent rear ended anything yet so its stopping my sled ...

Rick, you can have the rotors turned. A good brake mechanic can turn them, but you can only do it once.

Is turning the rotors lathing the same side. Or, does the rotor have slots on the other side?

Yup....I'm a complete idiot! No more questions while I'm sitting here doped up on Percocet. It just clicked in my head....the pads come in contact with both sides of the rotor.......and I knew that.....I'm just too damn doped up right now from the surgery! LOL

I guess I'll be buying some new ones! hehe

Mopar SuperCenter is selling the factory OEM Brembo slotted rotors for $76 a piece for the fronts and $73 a piece for the rears. That's a pretty good deal.

$275 isnt bad at all .. I did mine myself and it took me about 2 hours ... I have a lift also so it might be harder and more time consuming if your doing it in your driveway ...

    good luck

I'm sure its probably not that hard to do, but I paid the dealer to turn my rotors and intall my new pads. I think I paid around $200-$250 for this.
