I don't think the F1's or Invo's suck generally....just compared to the V's and ONLY in the handling dept. In the comfort department I'd have to give the advantage to the Invo's. The ride is really soft and I can dial up my damping settings on the KW's and the ride still feels soft/comfortable. Honestly, they may be a good tire for you with the Mopar coilovers. The V's and F1's are NOT uncomfortable by any means...just not as comfy as the Invo's.
im happy with my used tires that i get every month hell on my setup its not comfy to drive my car. and the tires last just one month on my neg 2 deg camber setup. i need to get different camber bolts i need more neg camber in my setup, atleast neg 3.
Gotcha, thanks Rick. The thing I'm thinking is like I said before on the setup ... the F1s took the stock suspension to it's limits, it was a good match. Not anymore, now I feel the Mopar suspension has taken the F1s to their limits and I need a better tire to fully reap the benefits of the Mopar suspension. Does that make sense? That's what I think anyway. So the V's next time then it is. 275s all the way around?? Hey Rick, this is still kinda on topic ... what's the benefits of having wider tires in the rear? I've heard many things over the years but do you know the actual reason?? Handling wise that is.
Scott, check out this thread I started a while back. Having wider tires in the rear gives you a larger contact patch (grip) while "launching" coming out of turns.http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7509 It will explain it better than I can.
You will get more benefit and control from a Pedders system, than all of the components you mentioned combined. Best of luck and be safe mike dms
