So, my weekend started off on Wednesday....As I was going down the road, headed to my buddies house for Thanksgiving weekend, my car decides to throw not one, but BOTH belts. WHAM. No power steering, A/C, or most importantly, no alternator.... So, I was stranded in the middle of freaking nowhere in Virginia. A place called Whaleyville. I had to wait for over an hour for my friend to come rescue me. We head to Napa, and bought the belts. (had to wait till friday for one to come in). We go and change the alternator belt in a parking lot with only an adjustable wrench....Fun. So then we get to his house, and I break the Go-kart we were riding..So there goes the weekend fun. Thursday was great. Tons of food. Friday...well....I got suckered in to going shopping with them. (friend and his wife)...AT FOUR IN THE MORNING!!!!??!?! I have never, and will never again, go shopping on black friday. Worst experience of my life. Never again. But, I did get a shitload of toys for my son for decently cheap. Then today, to top it off....I was within 300 yards of the base...and I get pulled over. 71 in a 55. Fucking sucks. I spent three years in San Diego, made multiple trips to Salt Lake City and back, and drove clear across the country, only to get pulled over really close to base...three days before I head back to California. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate Norfolk??

Flight leaves Orland at 8:00am EST and arrives in Atlanta around 9:30am. Leaves Atlanta at 10:30am for ABQ...
My current route puts me in ABQ around noon-time. I'll just slow it down a little more if I have to. Well, I'm off. I keep checkng the 'C' at rest stops and gas stations.
