Pretty much it's setup exactly like rage tells you. It's a big thing that plugs into the obd2 port and you just make a backup of your stock tune and then upload your tune whether it be the 93 one, the rage one or a custom one. It gives you straightforward step by step directions when you're flashing, so it's easy to use. Updates are available on diablosport's site as well as the DS software and other things so that's all there for you as well.

The only thing I don't like is you can't adjust for certain things. Like I had to send my mods to rage to get a canned tune (the one that comes with it) because I had to have them change the parameters to adjust for things like the s2 injectors, s3 rail s3 fpr and all that stuff because the 93 tune that comes with it is made for stock turbo cars with mild bolt on's. Pretty much this weekend I was making adjustments with Jay between 4k-5k pulling 40% fuel and it was still 10.0 in that range but it was because it wasn't programmed for the bigger injectors, so that's why I needed to have rage send me the canned one and I'll modify it from there. If you have anything like that, you have to talk to rage or someone who is a dealer for diablosport and can access those internal settings. I also wish the 1k tuning increments were more like 500 or something and it datalogged afrs.

Other than that I love it. I love datalogging the knock and timing on every run and then going back to see what the car was doing and all that, it's really cool. Adjusting rev limits, top speed, fans, fuel, timing and all that good stuff is neat. Drive ability got better, but then again my car ran pretty rough. And I have the peace of mind that I am no longer tricking the pcm and that I am actually reprogramming it and can flash it back to the stock tune whenever I want. Multiple maps is pretty cool so I can have pump, pump/meth, race gas etc. I haven't touched the boost control yet because I use an mbc and I don't think they have figured out the boost control with the stock/s1 pcm's, but I'm sure that will be good. I'll go back to Jay for a tune Thursday so I'll get more familiar with it then, but he loves it as well. I would buy it all over again if I could especially now that the price is almost 100 bucks cheaper than what I paid. If you want one, now is the time to buy.

i want to order one by next week before the sale ends. i'm using no vac lines and just the WGA at 19/17. i could use the 93 octane can, and adj it accordingly if need be? or is it pretty much on point?

only person i know that has one has a big turbo so it does me no good. i do plan on upgrading the turbo, but that won't be for awhile. I figured with the stock turbo, running off PCM control boost, and exhaust, and whatever they consider bolt-on (?)...i'll be good for now till I save up. but i've been looking for info on how to set it up without vac lines or boost controller.

Ya the 93 tune will be fine for you and if you want to adjust it you always can. It's not actually hard to adjust for those fuel settings, it's just that since the diablosport holds so many more options to fool with outside of fuel adjustment, people think its incredibly complicated, but it's really not that bad. Plus, you aren't locked into one tune. The ONLY reason I needed to go to rage was like I said to adjust for my fuel system which isn't stock like the 93 tune expects it to be. Get it, flash the 93 tune, you'll be all set.

    why can't you hold 17?

i was thinkin of upgrading to a 255 fuel pump...would that offset the 93 octane tune? i could ask rage-tek, but they seem pretty busy on answerin

also...where can i find info on vac lines...what's needed and not needed or if i need them at all

I don't think the pump will make a difference so you should be fine. As far as the vac lines go, I have no idea. Just pm Quicky4JR on the forum and ask him, he's usually pretty good about getting back to people within a day or so.

No problem. I actually don't know much about the Trinity. It has been brought up here and there in a few diablosport threads but it's still in the making.
