did tear my arterior and interior ligaments in my shoulder and partially tore my bicep muscle though, dislocated the arm 4 inches into my armpit. yeah it didnt feel good.

hahaha... Actually I spend alot of time working on bigger chassis than those. Cisco, Extreme, Juniper and Force10. But I am off my feet for a while and driving is out of the question. It will be interesting to see a deployment I have scheduled for this upcoming weekend :\

Sorry to hear that. I tore up my ankle around October 10th playing basketball... still isn't 100% yet... so I SORT OF see where you're coming from in a much more minute way.

    Hang in there huckleberry.

Marc works for Avaya and for some reason has been stuck with these machines (He calls them Barneys) when customers call in with questions or requests for them, just because he has had a class or two in them.

Not surprised, they've got partners everywhere. Fortunately, he's able to work from home over the phone/laptop.

Ask him if he does any work for ABBA. I do not touch the Avaya stuff, as I am just a network engineer.

Nope, not ABBA, not really sure how to describe what he does. Basically he works with the IP phone systems for different big clients like Home Depot, Wynn, and Union Pacific. And some other companies that used to be big but are having issues now.

Man I'm always picking up fully loaded 6509's (150+lbs) and loading them in my truck or putting them on palets or worse the APC 5000 UPS's (around 200lbs). The guys think I'm a human forklift since I'm 6'3" 240ish... :)
Never done that yet thank god but I've broken both knee caps in accidents when I was young, the only severe pain I get is when I teach how to do a drop step at wrestling practice for our school team.

Get well man! Sucks but you'll have cold weather/damp weather pain due to your injury for life. I know when a storm is coming when my knee goes cold and achey. :D
