I just bought an 07 off of ebay. How easy is the install? Is it just the two srews on the back or does it require a special tool? Dealer work? it looks simple...anyone know???

    Pretty straight forward.

The two screws on the back are for the Airbag assembly. Make sure you disconnect the battery before attempting this task.

Once you get the airbag assembly out and the wiring for the wheel controls, there should be the actual steering wheel lugnut (yes, lugnut). 21mm socket, or you can use your star wrench. lol

haha The steering wheel is considered a wheel, so it has the exact same bolt pattern and size as the lug nuts.

I read that somewhere a long long time ago. haha Surprised I can even remember that. lol

Rjeezy, so why did you do this, I thought the 07 wheel (and 08) were the exact same as ours?? What's different??

I replied to you on oc. I have an 06 and the 07 and up vehicles have the same wheel ofcourse , only with the black control buttons. I really just needed a new one, mine was a bit worn...lol. I love the blk buttons, made a big difference to me. I didnt pay much, it was a steal compared to dealer crap prices...

It made a helluva difference to me. Dealer has the steering wheel for close to 600, I won it on ebay for 125 or so. It was used with about 8k on it supposed.

Wow, that's a BIG price difference, congrats! The only reason I'd change is for a small diameter wheel, ours are just too big imo. I know it's so you can see all the gauges but it's still too big for me, makes for a "ponderous" truck type feeling to the steering instead of a sporty one.

Anyone know if the Chally steering wheel is slightly smaller? The one I saw seemed like it might be but I could be wrong.

its funny you mentioned that. When I put the wheel on, it seemed smaller for some reason. It even felt smaller but...it wasnt. Something was throwing me off though
