So I needed some directions today.... I put them in the Nav unit and it brings up a recomendation, for FLORIDA!!!! I live in STL MO!! What the heck is her problem?? I have my "home" set. Any reason that our navigations do that? Is there a way to make it just suggest for the area that I am in?

Also is there a workaround so you can input the data while driving?

    Thanks,

    Judd

The Nav is probably set to Florida State. You need to go into the Nav settings and put it back to where you are...

Ron, what do you mean set to? I thought it was "set to" where ever your "home" was. I looked through the settings and didn't see anything, but I could have easily missed it.

    Thanks for the Tip.

    Oh Ron,
Got my oil changed for the first time today at the dealership, with my 1/2 off card for buying there. STILL cost me $80!!! DANGGGGGGG

Guess I will shop it around next change. I think I can still get it done somewhere else for less.

I think there is a NAV hack for disabling the in motion block. You need a double sided double density disk and a DVD writer that will take it and the hack. They have them for specific versions. I think they did the last two.

$160 seems a bit high for the oil & filter. Most dealers charge around $120 - $140...

Really? The SRT10 is a $120 charge and it takes 13 quarts of Synthetic... lol

hmmm Maybe recalibrate your internal compass? I guess I need to go and look at my Nav and play around for a while.

Did you ever have an address in Florida saved in the Nav? I know I have done this a couple times. haha

$100+ oil changes still get me all :stars:...if there were ever an excuse for doing it yourself that should be it.

Anyone got a link to the "in motion" hack? I will do it for sure.
