Lets see... that looks like a resistor and a rather large cap? In a lucite box?... let me guess. You flip a switch when you leave the car and when the door handle (or any metal part of the car is touched it discharges through the perp?
prob only give you a buzz, looks like a really small cap....85 perhaps? its in an empty tic tac container? lol, what did you guys get bored in electronic class?
It's for fixing something Dodge left out of the trucks (actually ALL manufacturers leave it out), but something I think should be in there. I knew that I wanted the components to be "enclosed" in something, and when I saw the Tic-Tac container at the convenience store, I busted out the $0.89 and bought 'em. Rachel took the mints to work.
Ummm yeah you would probably hurt them more if you blew some bubbles at them. Its a 10k ohm resistor and a 100uF cap in series. It all depends on what its hooked up too as to what its going to do. Could be feedback for an opamp, could be creating a voltage divider with the cap blocking any DC offset. Could just be a whole lotta nothing.
:rofl: As for if I would put it on my car or not...IDK. 'Cause I have no clue what it is, or what it is for.
Hmmm I'm shooting for a bypass device or some sort of clamping device haha. But yeah without knowing what it is and how it actually works I wouldn't put it on my car till I knew.
