What he said... white with black text is easier to read, but I guess whatever the boss wants...:dunno2:
I can see it happening to some people as eyes take used to seeing something and then flip its something else. From going to light to dark. It does get some getting used to. To be honest when we switched over to V2 originally the orange/white gave me a headache and took me a while to get used to. I was actually getting dizzy and light headed looking at it.
I totally agree V2 was alot better then V1 but orange on some bars ran into each others and did cause my eyes to hurt a bit. V3 is alot easier on the eyes for me anyways.
M thats just a tumor... sorry... but seriously hit my PM box with some ideas. I love the color scheme but I am not against tweeks here and there.
I'm pretty sure you are right Chris!!!! Guess I should go ahead and get that lobotomy that Ron was trying to talk me into!!!
You didn't get used to it, Chris toned down the brightness on the white and it was actually a very light grey. One of those subtle changes that makes a huge difference. Is there any way to have it like a user selectable skin? Where a user could select V2, V3, etc. for the color scheme? or would you have to actually maintain all of them.
code points are actually completely different on each skin... I would be forced to maintain them. I have all the previous skins there but non are user selectable
I got used it believe me, your not me so you can't speak for me. It had nothing to do with the brightness on the white or the white itself. It was ALL bright to begin with. The grey effect is just a gradient effect. V2 originally had the gradient effect. When the V3 beta was released, V2 was stripped down hence losing the gradient shade of grey.
