how do you guys keep things car show clean under there...

the first and most important thing i know is to not drive it in bad weather cause thats how you get it really dirty in the first place...

but when it eventually does get dirty...how do you get down in the hard to reach places without takin everything apart...

or is that the answer haha

One of the best ways is to try and stay on top of it the best you can and keep it wiped down as often as possible. Make sure if you use any type liquid on the hoses, etc, make sure it isn't oily to attract dirt, etc. I don't use any degreasers as of yet, but probably will have to later on.

I usually will take a look every time i wash the car...and try my best to stay on top of things...so far i have just used a damp towel then dried it off...its worked good so far...but eventually it will get dirty so i want to be prepared! haha

I just try my best to stay on top of it. I wash it constantly, but I do it the same way every time and you kinda get a system. My under hood looks better then the day it came off the showroom floor. And thanks to THE///Man I get polish and wax everynow and again. I think a clean ass car ALWAYS, ALWAYs, reflections your passion for it...OR it could just mean I'm married, and it gets me out of the house!

Actually probably not bro, if you're as anal about cleanliness as you say you are (and I am), doing what you're doing will keep it pretty dang good. Motors usually only get real dirty from neglect ... years and years of no cleaning at all. I do the same as you, when I wash my car I wipe down the motor with some damp rags to get all the light dirt and dust off and that's it. You probably won't need to do much more than that for a long time bro, keep up the good work!! :eek:k:

He must not be a "true" gear head then. TRUE car guys clean each and every part of their cars, ESPECIALLY the crown jewel ... the 6.1 Hemi baby!!

Yep.... Rick is definitely one to more into the power and performance. He does keep the outside clean though... I think that's because Mrs Bud drives it though... Lol!

just be carefull of overspray on your beautiful paint bro, I've had that happen before on other cars and that stuff will peal off your wax quicker than Brittany Spears can peal off her panties!

Speakin of quarters in the machine.... did you guys hear Momo, broke his leg in a horse riding accident? Ya, he's OK now though, the Manager of Walmart came and unplugged the merry-go-round when Momo fell off and was hanging in the stirrups...
