While I was at Sema the question I was asked the most was "what is the difference between SMS and Techco?" Here you go.... SMS is a niche car manufacturer owned by Steve Saleen. He was at Saleen for 25 years and has now started SMS. His first vehicle will be the SMS challenger. Techco is an aftermarket company bringing oem standards and will not produce vehicles (unless customer drops off car and says "I want this") Most of the engineering, technical, sales,r&d, fabrication from Saleen are now with Techco. Techco is owned by a private indivudual. Who makes the supercharger? Techco produces the supercharger and will private label for SMS on its SMS challenger. SMS will sell the sc unit to anyone who would like the SMS label. Techco will sell its Techco supercharger as well. The unit is the same other then the labeling. Are you both in the same building? No Techco will go to the aftermarket 100% SMS will produce cars and may go into aftermarket as well Anyone have any questions please ask?
uhm,i didnt know that. a ''sms'' supercharger is REALLY a '' techco'' supercharger. i was thinking about purchasing this supercharger.
