.: DISCLAIMER :. I AM NOT TRYING TO UNDER-CUT ANYONE OR MAKE MONEY WITH THIS. NO CURRENT VENDOR OFFERS THIS AT THE TIME OF THIS POST.Hey folks! I'm finishing up the hose project for the truck and I've got a bunch of really nice braided line left over. Instead of just parking it, and since they won't let me return hose that's been cut (LOL), I figured I'd build some custom oil cooler lines for my SRT-10 brothers. HOSE: Nylon braided (with steel inner-rubber braid). FITTINGS: Lots of choices here.... - Red/Blue combo (traditional) - All Black - Chrome/Black combo - Red/Black combo - SS-look (sort of an unpolished chrome) - Full polished chrome ADAPTERS: - Blue - Black I've got enough for (4) pair of oil cooler hoses. Because fitting prices vary greatly depending on finish, the prices would range from about $140 to $180 + actual shipping. The package would include everything needed for replacing BOTH lines. An AN fitting wrench can also be included for $10 or $12 more (regular steel wrenches really mar up the anodized finish on AN stuff). NOTE: Oil does NOT have to be fully drained to replace the oil cooler lines. In the oil pan works fine, and then a small 12 oz cup to catch what's in the cooler. I'm just looking to cover my costs on this and get some cool stuff to my fellow members while cleaning out the shop. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks! (Yes- there's a DIY article coming for oil cooler line replacement. )
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one with an oil cooler. I just finished doing the oil cooler *and* the heater hose lines with the red/black fittings. I must say, it's really, REALLY nice. Do you guys need pics or video or...what?
We are strapped right now, other wise I would consider this for Reenie's truck. I need you to call me Kevan.
