The salesman is talking with management to see if they will take the car "as is". If not. I would like to see if anyone local or close to SD would be willing to trade motors, complete swap. I currently have the PPP 426 longblock, with Kooks headers, and off road mid-pipes. In return I would ask for your complete stock longblock + $3,000. I could also throw in the ID 22's (Just like Ron aka 1BAD4DR's wheels) for $500.00 more. So you would get: - PPP forged 426 - PPP stage 2 heads - PPP custom cam & PPP race warrior cam - Kooks LT's and off road midpipes - Diablo 426 tune - and for $500.00 more I will throw in the 22's I would get: - your stock motor + $3,000 or $3,500 (Depending if you wanted the rims or not) I am not sure how we would work the labor fees. Damn bro...if you would have posted this a month ago I'd be all over this. But, realizing that a 4200 lb car that is already "fast enough" to have fun with, I've decided that no more modding is necessary. And since I don't drag race, cause it's for fags (not literally JMatt), I don't see any reason at making a perfectly fun car a little faster for thousands of dollars. Good luck friend!!!
This is a smokin deal. Someone needs to jump on this. Rick, you don't like drag racing cause you don't have a real drag strip in SD and you reactions are that of a stoth, or about 5 feet per minute. So your 60' would be about 12 minutes. You just want a funny hat and an ascot blowing out your window.

But, I'm going to reign in some of my selfishness for a year and trade in the 2001 Tacoma pickup my wife is driving and buy her a decent car cash with the 26k I'm getting in a few weeks for my first installment of my three year reenlistment bonus. I'm going to be gone until May anyways, and won't be putting one mile on the car while I'm gone. I'm going to buy a purpose built rally car next October for my second bonus installment and do some of the California/Arizona rally races.
It happened to me my friend. I need to take the kids on more vacations and enjoy them while they still want to hang around dad! Well fellas, after a lot of back and forth BS with the dealership regarding numbers. I decided not to go through with it. It was hard as hell for me to walk away from the Viper, but the numbers just didn't make sense to me. Wouldn't have been a smart financial decision, at this point and time. Thanks for the interest.
