Norfolk

As most of you know, I am stuck in this god forsaken place. I have never been a fan of this place, and chances are, I never will.

Anyways, I am staying in the per diem barracks....which basically means I am staying in a barracks room with a maid service and no room inspections....And I pay money for it....But it is just as crappy a room as anything, even though they try a spice it up like a hotel room.

Well...here is a little issue I'm dealing with....

Dude, Jeff, you ARE a Sailor/Soldier, you have it WAY better than when I was in 87 - 96. lol You should have seen the BAQ's we stayed in (if we were lucky enough to get a building) when we went TDY. haha

When I was in school for the H-46 back in '99, we were on a marine base living in barracks that were condemned. No joke. Half the windows were still boarded up.

The roaches were the size of house cats.

 

Now that sounds like what im use too.
Now thats marine corps living at its best!!!!
