Wife left the charger on and the batt is dead while she sits in the garage. Can't get a second car in there to jump it, I have road side assistance. Anything special I should look for or be wary of? ok to jump from trunk or has to be under hood? Judd
You can jump from the trunk or the engine bay. Nothing special other than matching Positive to Positive and Negative to Negative. hehe
Good!! I was just worried about messin up some of the electronics. Road side is on the way to take care of it and I am trying my best to still be nice to the wife... lol Thanks Ron
Yes she did, don't you believe him Judd. That's a wifes job, to suck the life out of you, it's what they do best. The car was nothing more then a metaphor. Hey, if your doing it under the hood. Make sure and get a good ground on the chassis.
i lol'd:ronlove: i can attest to that! i got one from wally world. think its a black and decker. cost me like $80 and it can either recharge the battery or feed it enough juice to jump it. good times.
Something about weight distribution. The battery placement is also fun for those who try to "reset the adaptives" by disconnecting the battery and then CLOSE the trunk... :imao:
Why is that different than the battery going dead with the trunk closed? Use the key to get in either way, right? Got her going... jumped it from the trunk, electronics survived no problem. Glad I checked back in on this thread, you guys and gal had me LMAO Thanks for the help!! Judd
Um, there's not a place to use the key on the trunk. You have to crawl in thru the back seat to pull the tab to open the trunk from the inside.
wow.... I can see a devious plan there..... "hey babe my battery is dead can you crawl into the trunk and help unlatch the lid?" *thud click bruuuuuum screeeeeeeeech* and that kids is how you get a dead hooker in the trunk.
