Me saying this content is funny in no way shows what Obama is like! That's a dumb thing to say. And yes we do need to look at more than just the D or the R. If I felt in tuned with McCain's ideal's I'd vote for him. Sadly, I don't. Sometimes you need to look further than the D or the R. Sometimes you have to look further than the fact that a man was a POW.
I am a Vietnam Vet who volunteered to lay down my life for this country. I have previously voted for Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. This year, I intend to vote for the man who seeks to unite this country rather than the ones who seek to divide it. I intend to vote for Barack Obama. No matter how many of you degrade his name by misspelling it as a terrorist name; no matter how many of you arm up by dropping big bucks on weapons and ammo; no matter how many distort his words by suggesting he will raise taxes when he actually talks about cutting them for the middle class. I am also a Christian who believes that Barack Obama's approach is closer to the word of God than any other candidate. A willingness to go to war doesn't indicate a resolve to win a war. In the war, we fought and spilled blood for much territory that we were then ordered to give right back before our bodies were cold. I watch Bush and McCain's corporate friends make millions of dollars in bonuses and Exxon makes Billions in record profits each quarter while I worked for 35 years and still struggle to feed my family and have to forego buying my medicine to have enough left over to keep a roof over my family's head. I am tired of corporate CEOs (that didn't serve their country in the military) getting instantly and insanely wealthy off of the freedoms I fought for, while people who work for the same companies for years get downsized or laid off or have their pensions cut or eliminated. I'm voting for Obama!!!! And no amount of ultra conservative lies or double-speak can change that.
That is what is great about America, its a free Country...at least for now. I'm just can't vote for Obamas and socialism.
lol. Good post BOU, although Im not sure how some of your arguement is derived, its great that you know WHO you are voting for. And as far as the religion goes, I havent seen an ounce of Christian sentiment in that guy. Im a strong believed and would vote Republican based on moral and values that the (R) party stands for, but not sure about Senator Obama. And as far as President Bush's (and Senator McCain's) friends making money. I say thats better than Senator Obamas friends Bill Ayers, the Rev. Wright, and the other corrupt leaders he associates with. Not saying thats how I base my opinion, but I would rather have someone who associates with big business's than taint that sanctity of America with Senator Obama's "friends."
Thanks for the post Immo, and for the video Keith. 11 million views on that vid....those are Timberlake numbers!
I have the utmost respect for you cus your a veteran, but i feel sorry for you if you that ignorant to obamas bullshit. I really don`t like mccain, but he is deff the lesser of 2 evils. I`m supprised that you served in nam and could support obama when he is going to crush the military efforts
I know I posted this once, but it is worth posting again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WNGjawtP48 This is again from Mark's letter about Michelle Obama: Your lovely wife so disappointed people like me during this campaign when she stated it was the first time she had ever been proud of this country. She apparently never noticed the massive aid we give dozens of other countries. She apparently never noticed the sacrifice of literally millions of veterans who helped make this country a free nation and helped liberate other nations from brutal dictators such as Adolf Hitler. She apparently does not remember that she attended ivy league universities with scholarship money that ultimately (at least some of it) was paid for by our taxes. This troubles me more than you know. She is an angry black woman who appears to not like her country very much. I don't want her representing me to the rest of the world.
Your speaking to people here that won't listen bro....They are all scared. The veracity of the post is in question but hey so long as it slams someone they don't like it's all good. I am voting for Obama as well and I am a life long Republican...Kudos to you on being informed. The filth the Right has put out over the past 2 years is one reason why I changed party affiliation and the topper was selecting a complete Moron as a running mate....That is the best the GOP can offer and it's truly sad...same old tactics and they offer no substance....screw em :usflag:
Two weeks ago: $250K and up. Last night's (kinda creepy) infomercial: $200K and up. If the current trend continues, he should reach the $42K and up mark by the the time he takes the oath. AWESOME! I'm so excited to pay reparations! Oops....I mean....redistribute the wealth.
Like BIGAL said....it`s a statement! I feel sorry for your mental incapacities, which you have proven over and over in this tread. Go to an obama site where evryone will agree with you and maybe you will be happy.
Threat or statement. To suggest that he might not make it four years is a sad commentary on someone's reaction to the results of an election. We come together here and share modding and driving experiences in a sense of brotherhood. I'm all for that. But just know that I remember Kennedy, Kennedy, King, and Malcolm X. The days of killing someone you don't agree with are over. That is the same sorry response to differences that got this country into this mess. We bankrolled Saddam to use him against Iran and then spent billions to take him out when he got out of hand. If I can put up with eight years of George Bush without once thinking about using a weapon to cut his term short, then I expect my candidate, if he wins, to at least be given the same uninterrupted opportunity. If that is not how you guys feel then so be it. I have enough combat experience to know that you gotta raise your head to get off a shot and I'll will be watching for the muzzle flash. I'm sorry. I didn't know this was a McCain site. I thought this was a site where people who happened to have love of Mopars in common could freely give their opinions in a nonthreatening environment without fearing that someone with a different opinion would hint at an assassination option. My mind is clear, and I know what you mean when you say what you say; even if it is hidden behind a screen name and a few cleverly placed words. You do what you feel is necessary and I'll do what I know is right...and that starts with voting for Obama for President.
