Injectors ?

Can someone tell me what size the stock 6.1 and 5.7 are?

I can't remember what size they are Howard, but you will certainly need to upgrade the OEM injectors to the SRT-4 Blue Top injectors.

 

SRT OEM 03's are purple 527cc
OEM 04-up are black and blue 577cc

if you need more fuel there are also 682cc

 

If you want to chance it you can get sets of Stage 1 injectors off the srtforums for CHEAP (got mine for $100 for 8 shipped).

Stock 6.1 Injectors @59psi will put out 34.2lbs....this info came from flow sheets Jon was good enough to share with me.

What size are the injectors on the 392 crate engine they have a blue top instead of the yellow on the 6.1

 

Those are stage one SRT4 I believe, which is what I run. I would suggest you get the stage 4 and worst case your tuner will scale them back. At least you won't run out of injector and also the impedance of the unit matches the driver in the PCM so there are no issues.

 

Stage 4 is HUGE. Tuners have a hard time scaling them to keep the LT fuel trims in check.
