This weekend, those of us who live in Virginia and I expect other states as well, were visited by the Horsepower Fairy. For some reason she only comes out in the fall. The way you can tell, is when you're driving down the road minding your own own business, a feeling will come over you to mash the gas. When you do, you'll feel a whole new level of acceleration. Don't bother looking under the hood, as nothing has changed. The difference is the 1-2 shift that use to chirp, now leaves 50 to 100 foot black streaks down the road. It MUST be the horsepower fairy!
