While working on the truck tonight (shock replacment DIY article), I had a buddy stop by and say hello.... Totally unafraid. The raccoon, that is.
i love raccoons, we had one come into our garage all the time when i lived in a more rural area. by far the most interesting wild animals in the area. haha, i would take video of them washing their paws in our ponds waterfall.
The world would be a different place if that happened to all of us when we walked into a grocery store.
Why? It scare you? I used to have a raccoon come by the house back in Ca...interesting creature, and the kids loved watching him fiddle around in the back yard.
They are cute funny little creatures...... All until the little rat basturds start tearing shit up!. When I lived in the mountains, they'd raid the garbage. About the only thing that would stop'em was a 100lb weight on top of the cans. Back in highschool I had a girlfriend who's father was a ranger. He used to bring home all kinds of animals and care for them. So one day he brings home a injured raccoon, nursed it back to health and kept it in a cage in the house. Well the little Fr escapes one day when no one was home. He tore the shit outta the entire house. Anything and everything was EVERWHERE!! and ripped apart too. That was the last time he brought home one of them. :stars:
Raccoon's are the bomb. haha Actually, they can make great pets if raised when young. I had a friend (yes I actually had a friend once lol) that had a Raccoon as a pet. That fugger was cool. He weighed 85lbs and was very playful. He also made a great watch dog, err Raccoon. haha
I have had too many nights where I had to go out and put all the trash that was scattered all over my front yard back in the trash car. This use to happen ever night till I got a few traps and removed them to a diffrent part of town. The gun and shooting them was a little over the top. I do think they are cute just to curious for me. almost like a farret. And ron my buddy had 2 of them as pets for a few years they have some sharp claws
awwww how cute he is......but yes they make a mess........but hey kids do the same thing and so do guys when tearing apart their cars so whats the big deal..... :bigwink:
you buddy is at my house all the time....only he brings all his friends with him and they eat all our plants LOL
wow..... reminds me of some of the fox squirrels i see on the golf courses out here......the will come right up to you in the middle of a swing!!! lol
To all those who posted about their trash cans being 'emptied': There's this new thing out there. It's called a LID.
He smelled the tip of shoe, but since it smelled like VTCOA Admin-ass, he found it unappealing. Imagine that. Something so disgusting that a garbage-eater turns his nose up at it. He looked at my hands and saw no food, so he waddled out of the garage and around the corner to check (again) that some dog food might have appeared since his last visit 38 seconds ago. The "Magic Door That Brings Food" didn't open, so he milled around the huge juniper trees that line the patio, hoping to find some leftover squirrel food. Suddenly, the Magic Door That Brings Food *did* open, and out came cylindrical yellow things with little bits of goodness on them! Yummy! The Magic Door That Brings Food and it's bi-pedal operator left, and the raccoon enjoyed his meal. THE END.
Thats was great I am content, lol I think he was looking for your car keys so he could drive to wendys, lol
