I've known of this tire for a couple months now, and wanted to share with you guys. I'm sure you all know how hard it is to find a "sticky" performance tire for all of us running 22's. Well Falken finally came out with a tire for us!!! They make a 295/25/22 for rear, and a 265/25/22 for front. They designed it for all those guys in M5's and M6's, but it works for us too!! If you google "Falken FK-452", you'll find more info than this, but it's just one place to find them. Enjoy!! http://www.discounttirezone.com/Falken-FK-452_c_117-3-3.html Chase
holy crap a 25 sidewall haha....thats like wrapping a rubberband around the wheel hahahaha oouch....$353 per.... but you gotta pay to play! hahaha....good find brudda
Yeah, they're a little pricey. But I'm sick of rolling around on "all season" tires made for an SUV. For me, the price is worth it. A stickier tire is something I haven't seen in 2 years, I miss the handling! But I agree Stevo, they're low profile as shit...... Chase
Chase, have you tried Vred's? I know they are "summer tires" but I have found them to have very good traction even in the rain.
I have been running these for about a year or so on my OEM rims, have 18k plus miles on them..they are a nice tire!
I just picked up toyo proxes. The tread wear is 300, Molsrt8 has them as well and he says they hook pretty good. I got 285/30/22 for the rears and 265 for the fronts on my new wheels. they also make a 295/25 but man thats no sidewall 30's are almost to small in my opinion
like dan side i do not have much trouble hooking with my toyos but the quiafe helps alot. but it is only a wagon, with a supercharger!
I really like the Dunlop Sport Maxx in 305/30/22 rear and 265/35/22 fronts. I don't like the 25 ratio sidewall. Just my opinion.
What other feedback ya got for me?? Good grip?? Good handling?? Road noise?? Do you get any rubbing with that size in the rear?? I always thought that a 305 was too wide for us on 22s?? If yours fit, I will buy that exact set of tires!!! The only reason I haven't yet, is because I thought it rubbed.... Chase
Good tire, I got alot of miles out of them, same 60 foots as my F1's on the strip and I also did a few road course days with them. Only downside is that like most directional tires they get noisy when they wear.
Cool. Thanks Kris!!! Hey by the way, I visited BMC's website for the first time today in SEVERAL months. I had no idea how much cool stuff you guys sell, damn!!! I hope to give you some biz in the future, great product selection man!!!! Chase
Really depends on how low you go. Yes, I did have rubbing in the rear - had to roll the fenders even more than I originally did. I actually had more of a problem with the fronts rubbing.
