HHP Stage 2 w/ Kook's longtubes/hi-flows, Protorque 2800 TC and SLP underdrive pulley.

My first run after a 45 minute drive and 30 minutes of cool down at about 1500' DA was 13.5@109. My 60' was 2.1 something. The car couldn't spin the tires and felt very sluggish to the 330' mark.

I reloaded the tune and got about a 60 minute cool off with 850' DA and ran [email protected]. 1.909 60' time (my best ever on street tires). I brake torqued it to about 1500 rpm and rolled into it. It really took off and on the 1-2 shift there was a shudder which felt like the tires were slipping and catching 2-3 times. Luckily it didn't feel very jarring as I was worried about my half shafts.

Don't know why my MPH is low. In the past I've added fuel to the tune and that brought the MPH up some. I may try that next time.

My last run of the evening was a [email protected] with a 1.975 60' time. I was less aggressive launching this time as I thought I'd lose traction due to it cooling down even more.

    That's great Jeff. Congrats!!.

Some DR's and a little better weather and she's a solid 11 ride.

Thanks for sharing my enthusiasm! I was very stoked, especially after my first run was so crappy.

Seems like other folks with the same package trap 115-116 that is why I'm scratching my head.

Lookin at the timeslips section you were within the norm...maybe 1-2 mph below average but close....of course there is a big difference between a 5400LB truck and a 4200LB car....my best was a 12.18 @ 115.89....so you might be able to gain 1-2 mph at best..

    Very stock.

OK thanks. I was looking at someone else's timeslip who got a 115 MPH and his 660' MPH was the same as mine. Maybe I need more fuel up top?

Fuel up top...maybe...just a little....I know the guy who bought my former SRT8 did increase his trap spd by adding more fuel...but quickly went the other way with too much...just that happy median..:)

It could be as simple as tire pressures. Air up the fronts to max. Also if your running a wide tire, that'll kill ya too.

I had 34 up front and 25 in back. 275/40/20 Vredesteins all around. The wide tires could be hurting I suppose.

Very good times Jeff! Nice launch! hehehe. Bump that tire pressure in the front to 50...and make sure you ESP is completely off. The tune may need a some tweaking...but nevertheless good show!

I might make that if I can leave my house a little earlier and avoid traffic. I'd like to be up there with you and Mao and maybe Bob from SVS will come to help with the tune.

Yeah, that is the fun part of this. When you find your limit that is where you end up getting a stroker :)

Nice times Jeff! I'm sure some 17" rims with DR's would probably get you into the high 11's. I see half-shafts in your future. Hopefully RDP will release their 600HP half-shafts for $895 as was posted in a recent thread by DynoSteve.

That's what I'm hoping for. I also hope they don't have toner ring or boot issues that need sorting out.

You've only been to the track with your new setup once and you weren't even driving. Also I think you left before it really cooled off. I think you can get much better times all motor.

Thanks! It certainly is better than spending thousands of dollars and running the same times :)
