Jeep has now built over 10,000 Grand Cherokee SRT8's...

2006 model year - 3,257 (confirmed)

2007 model year - 3,224 (est.)

2008 model year - 3,163 (confirmed)

2009 model year - 436 (as of 10/06/08)

Grand total to date: 10,080

This is great data for the JGC owners; however, I am still disappointed how the Magnum and the GC owners can find out exactly where their car stands.

Maybe someone here can explain to me why the amount of the Chargers made and by color are so secretive.

If someone could actually find out how many TorRed 07's were made....it would finally put to rest my question that has not been answered.

Resume, can you find out how many are registered in the UK? Are any 08 models available there also?

 

I tracked the 1st year SRT8 Chargers and put together some data, but it can involve a lot of work so I never gathered much Charger info after that. I'll keep an eye out for '07 color data.

 

I don't have access to very much export model data. All I have found so far is confirmation of 2009 model SRT8 production (which started early last month), with first batches headed to UAE, New Zealand and a few to Germany. I'll keep looking for 2008 data.
