Looks like the Jesel set up from PRI last year. No? Did they finally get a casting to go under the rocker set up? The last time I saw it you had to mill the heads flat and then add their parts in.

Brand new. Specifically for the Hemi 5.7 and 6.1L engines......

    QUOTE:
The new 1.500 pivot rocker bodies are CNC-machined out of tough, shotpeened 7000 series alloy aluminum and fitted with Timken needle bearings that ride on centerless-ground steel rocker shafts. These rockers will easily clear 1.450â€￾ diameter springs and are rated for spring pressures exceeding 600-pounds-open. Other standard features include a one piece aluminum base plate, steel-billet stands available in .025â€￾ height increments, all necessary mounting hardware and tool steel lash adjusters.

    Technical:
    • Rocker ratios are available from 1.60-1.70

Yes - Jesel. Don't know about milling the heads. Not mentioned in the release I posted above.

    But think of the possibilities....

    Better valve springs
    Stronger rockers
    Huge lift from larger ratio

Someone could work on building one of these that'll rev to 8,000 rpm. With the right cam, HP numbers could be outrageous.

The press-release I found was dated September 25. As 1fast4dr mentioned, they were at PRI last year.

I run Jesel valvetrain on my drag car, and Jesel is widely considered to be hand's down the best valvetrains built.

I know John is a pretty smart guy, but I am in the same boat. I don't know exactly what that is, or the benefit of it is? I'm assuming a kickass set of heads?? Sorry, I'm just not as smart as some of you guys. My bad for the stupid question, but I'd love to be enlightened.

I saw these last year. But they are costly...............way costly and require extensive head work. But either way, totally cool.

It's a new rocker arm system. It's the link between the camshaft and the actual valve operation.

They'll allow bigger amounts of lift, stronger valve springs, great valvespring seat pressure (which lets you spin the engine faster without valve float).

Using a longer ratio rocker will effectively make your cam seem even larger.

You could use more agressive cam opening and closing profiles to get those valves open quicker, etc.

Sets for big block Chevys can easily run $2,000. Can't find any pricing info on these.

Think of it as forging your top end.

    Ehh.... LOL. No biggie.

I'm just a car nut through and through. I may spend my time on higher performance drag racing stuff now, but because of that I've been running into some new stuff from time to time as well.

    It's all about learning.

I copied all the info that was available. Can't find it on their website. I'll probably be talking to them again tomorrow though. I'm buying news heads and Jesel rocker setup for my big block Chevy.

At PRI (maybe it was SEMA) last year, they had the same set-up. Everything in that pic that's silver is the Jesel equipment. The runners and base of the head (black in the pic) the customer was to provide. You had to mill out all the OEM rocker stands and spark plug tubes to create a flat base for the Jesel equipment. And $2k for the rockers sounds about right from what I remember.

That's typical. Even for my BBC heads, each different casting from each different manufacturer gets re-milled to specifically fit Jesel rockers and stands.

But everyone does it. You don't run big HP numbers with factory style valvetrain.
