I noticed that it's the oil return line type Novi 1200. I'll check to see if Paxton can convert it to a self contained unit but if not, does anyone have pics of their oil line installation? I'm going to assume I will need to get an adaptor for the oil filter to give me an pressurized line out and then drill and tap a hole into the oil pan for the return line. Also if anybody has a gsmotorsports installation brochure I can borrow that would be great as well! I need to know the "trick" people talk about so it won't shred belts. Let me know!
Paxton cannot convert an oil fed unit to a self contained unit. And make sure you do return the oil into the pan above where the oil sits in the pan. GS was installing the oil returns into the bottom of the pan which is not good.
Thanks for the info! BTW, I found your 11 second 1/4 mile video from when you had a stock bottom end with the S/C. That was awesome!
No problem. That wasn't my car. My car never ran right when I had my S/C on. That is probably my buddy Anthony's car. He just put down 800+rwhp with his new built short block.
I PM'd Hemi31 but I'll ask here too. The S/C I received doesn't have a pulley and when I called Paxton they said it was a custom Pulley made by GSM due to belt offset etc. Does anyone have a pulley I can see a picture of or that they upgraded? I need to verify this so that I can continue. thanks guys!
