Makes me wonder what would happen with the Challenger in a 6 speed. The crazy swed is classic in this video. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/H2H-Ep-14-Shelby-Super-Vs_188578.htm
haha, badass vid dude. good find. i wonder what 426 these guys were using? sure doesnt make sense with the overheating issues.
It depends who's car it came out of........if it came out of Hubinettes it is a CMW.......if it came out of Carlsons 300 it would be an Arrington.
Hal posted this up weeks ago (too lazy to look for the thread) and Brad from NuFormz chimed in. That motor came out of Sammy's Charger which is the CMW 426. The funny thing is I usually take out the Shelby car by a car 1/2 to car length. hmmm And what is up with the 100K price tag? They been drinking with Hennessey?
does it usually overheat like that? doesnt make much sense to me that only a few runs would overheat the motor and cause him to shut it down a bit. maybe they paid the 20k over retail.....then a bit more for r and d....etc. didnt make sense either.
Makes no sense at all. Could be the radiator cap. lol I had that issue before. R&D? haha The motor came out of Sammy's Charger (about a year old) the Supercharger is a Paxton kit from a company I rather not discuss. And the Challenger is owned by the same person who owns the company I am not discussing. lol No R&D.
^^^ i was joking about the r and d.... why in the world is the "company who will not be named" not involved in this vid? only some company ive never heard about (nuformz).
Advertised horsepower or not. I am completely unimpressed. Sammy can drive, no two ways about it. And I have seen multible 1:42's on that track with a 5.7 that was only laying down 316hp and 350tq. So for either one of those cars to only lay down a 1:36 blows. That's stock Viper times.
huge diff between a viper and these rides though. the viper is designed for the track. these two def are not imho.
Tell ya what, if I'm gonna spend a hundy on a ride, it better fricking kick some serious ass. I'm heading back to Willow next month, we'll see how it goes.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ox5MHtSQDuw truthfully more than a hundy and kicks ass but def not on a level of a track car. haha, totally bad comparison, but check this out.
I have to agree with CAM on the track times but it did look like the cars were drifting around the course. As for the overheating....an OEM radiator is not adequate for the heat being generated out of a (their quote) 725 HP engine.....bet dollars to donuts good ol' Shelby put a real radiator in his Mustang..Oh!!..If the engine came out of the drift charger then it's the same size engine that 1bad4rdr runs and its not even close to being 426 cubic inches.
the personal charger was just a 392 as well right? in the black one with all the carbon fiber pieces?
