I raced my buddies 2001 s4 stage 3 today. We where on the freeway hit a roll from 60-120 with my cutouts closed held my 1 1/2 car lead the whole time. next run 80-125 I had him by 2 cars with my cut outs open. Best part is hes really not a friend I talk to rath just see him and say hi. After I walked on him we pull over and he say "Man I just got my car back from the shop." I asked what he got done since the last time I saw him he was only stage 2(mostly pipeing) he told me he dropped 6k on new turbos and such to make it a stage 3 car. I almost shit my self since I have seen a bunch of them run low to mid 11's at the track Needless to say I am looking forward to my track day tomrrow
Nice! I used to have an A6 2.7t (same engine) the guy I sold it to did the stage 3 stuff to it, I hope I run into him, would love to hand him his ass!
you will too. I was a little in shock at first. when we ran I noticed I could hear his turbos alot more but didnt really think much of it. I was just thinking to my self nice I beat a stage 2 audi. That was when he told me about the new ko40 turbos I about shit my pants
He must have felt like shit! Maybe you should give him some time to get things ironed out, put you supercharger on and then make him feel like shit again! Mwahahaha (evil laugh)
Nice bro! Those Audis are sweet tho, I saw an RS6 the other day that was quite possibly the sweetest sounding car I've ever heard (and yea, it was stock), man what a V-8 sound it had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yea I beat a few rs6's when I just had long tubes and a 125 shot. this stage 3 audiwas much faster than a rs6
I didn't say it was the fastest, just sounded wicked it all. I was walking thru a parking lot and heard this SWEET V-8 coming up behind me. I turned expecting to see a Mustang or Camaro or older muscle car of some sort ... nope, an RS6. The guy parked right by me and I got to talking to him, very cool guy, and I asked about mods and he said none. I found it hard to believe it sounded like that stock but looking at his car the exhaust sure looked stock to me. Man, what a sweet sound! Not the best looking of cars and not the fastest but in my book quite possibly the best sounding I've ever heard!!
maybe u mean s6 john? because an rs6 is VERY rare. they only made a handful of them to compete with the new e55 when it was launched in 03.
yea thye are great my buddy just go a rs4 and he has some crazy idea that hes going to beat me. I had a nice quite laugh and just walked away. i will let the car speak fo its self
