As the 1st Distributor for Techco, we at BMC Performance are proud to bring you an exclusive pre-order opportunity on the new HEMI supercharger system! You have probably seen a supercharger like this on the new SMS cars, but since Techco is the engineering and manufacturing brains behind this system, we are able to bring it to you for a more affordable twin-screw supercharger option.



The Techo supercharger kit will come with the unit shown above, as well as all the goodies need it to install and run away with approximately 140 new horses! Since first posting about our relationship with Techco, we have received a number of inquiries, so I'll cut to the details you are all wanting ... the price!

Retail is $7499 ... but we are running a pre-order special price of $6999 until the first 100 units. I will post here once the pre-order price ends. Orders will be filled on a first come, first served basis. After the first 100 units are gone, the retail price of $7499 will be in place. Kits will begin shipping in late October, so be sure to get your order placed to lock in the pre-order price!

To pre-order, simply 'purchase' the Techco kit here TECHCO @ BMC, and the $500 deposit is all that you will be charged at this time. When the kits ship we will contact you for the remainder of the payment prior to shipping. You will only be charged for the appropriate price based on the number of pre-orders (less the $500 deposit), and we will send you a tracking number.

Mopar owners of 2005 to 2009 HEMI 5.7 and HEMI 6.1 vehicles are now able to boost under hood horsepower by up to 45% with innovative new dual-screw supercharger (patent pending).
What makes the TECHCO Reverse-Revolution Twin Screw Supercharger so revolutionary is the unique design (Patent Pending), which optimizes airflow efficiency throughout. Incoming air is fed into the front of the supercharger, not the back like conventional designs. This ensures that the incoming air has minimal turns, eliminating restrictions, before entering into the supercharger housing. Additionally, without the need for a complex inlet tube, the largest possible orifice size is maintained, maximizing air flow efficiencies. The air then flows into the lobes of the Reverse-Revolution asymmetric multi-lobe compressor screws, where it is compressed, not merely moved, as in other forms of supercharging. The compressed air then flows into the intercooler housing which houses (2) intercoolers mounted in an A-Frame configuration to ensure the airflow is evenly distributed to each runner bank. The Patent Pending Twin Intercooler design results in higher cooling capacity and greater thermal efficiencies as the cooling water only has to pass through the intercoolers once, keeping the charge air cool. A further benefit of the front Inlet Design is the additional package space above the supercharger that is used for long high flow Intake Runners, which increases low end torque.

The resulting design of The TECHCO Reverse-Revolution Twin Screw Supercharger allows air to move through the supercharger quickly and efficiently, without significant heat buildup, and at the highest resulting airflow volume at low boost output. The performance result is maximized horsepower and torque output.

How noisy is this blower? Any sound clips? Is the tuning done with the Predator or a separate tuning sortware? Once the hardware is installed and the base tune is in can the tuning be optimized by a custom tune anywhere close to where I live? (Alberta, Canada) Does this have to be serviced separately or is the oil supply for the engine all that is required? Is this a complete kit or does it require separate cooling, fuel supply or fuel pumps? Is there any warranty with this kit as there is with the Vortech?

The marketing dept. and vendor support is trying hard to get this launched, however i'm ready for a bullet and good tune unless I see something quick to change my mind. I have no doubt that Techno/SMS is going to come out with a nice piece but quit putting the carriage before the horse.

 

The link below is to a video of our Supercharger on our Durability Test Bench. We have a SuperFlow Eddy Current Dyno Bench for our Supercharger testing and durability evaluation. In the video you’ll see the supercharger running at two different rpm speeds and then Billy closes the valve and you’ll see the boost gauge read boost as the closing of the valve puts a load on the supercharger by restricting the air output of the supercharger.

Is the blower their own or is it another manufacturers. From what I have read I take it that it is their own design blower.
