I noticed a couple days ago when I did not drive my car for 24 plus hours that something is draining my battery or something else is wrong. battery has been 100% dead twice after letting it sit for a while, it also died once at PPP when we were installing the AF gauge. my car is equipped with a Methanol injection kit, Innovate AF gauge (maybe the o2 sensor heater is staying on), boost controller, turbo timer (turbo oil pump runs for 30 seconds after shut off but I know it turns off and does not keep running), boost a pump. those are all the things that draw power that are new to my car.
my other thought was the alternator but would the car start consistently as long as I drive it then or would the battery get drained no matter how much I drive it?
thanks in advance for any input!

after you turn off your car....just sit there and be quiet...if you hear what sounds like heart beat....you need the subwoofer TSB....

Basically the sub keeps drawing from your battery when your car is off which = dead car....

HID's and their ballasts are HUGE draws.
Check those if you have them.

I wll check the Subwoofer, I don't think I've ever heard it before but maybe..

My car did sit for a few months when getting mods installed.

I just have OEM HID's, don't think those would cause problems but who knows.

Look for the TSB for the Sunroof Control Module. The subwoofer heartbeat is just a symptom of the Sunroof Control Module problem. It just needs to be re-flashed. Also, from what I was told, you can have this problem regardless of whether you have a sunroof or a subwoofer (as I think all LX's have the module). I have read that it has taken a couple tries to get the flash to take for some people.

I found the TSB like you said on tech authority TSB#08-015-07, like you said it only applies to 2006-2007.

But my subwoofer does thump for a few seconds after I shut the engine down and then stops, never killed the battery though and mine stays in the garage sometimes 5-10 days with me not starting it.

yea, I've had my car for over a year and never had a problem. I've been trying to hear the subwoofer all day and not heard anything.

update: took my car to the dealer, they replaced the battery, hopefully that fixes things. Service underwriter said it's not uncommon for battery cells to die in his experience around 15k miles which is where I am.
I was concerned it was the alternator but aparently it's run by that canbus so there would have been a code thrown if that was the issue.
