So I took the plunge guys...My runflats turned out like most everyone else's. Complete wear on the inside. So.....I decided to put the best of the best on my beast. I got the Dunlop SP Maxx RunFlats in 275/40/20 and 315/35/20. I saw a new X5 the other day with these and absolutely fell in love. WAY better than anything else I've seen. I don't have good luck, and I knew if I went with a non run flat, I would be screwed. The tires are actually being shipped as of right now. I should have them on in the next couple of days so I will definitely post pictures and give you my thoughts on the ride/handling etc. Oh ya, they were VERY expensive, but IMO, tires are one of the most important things on the car, and they need to be good. So anyway, just wanted to share my excitement! Definitely will post up pics as soon as I get them on the rig!

you never know how huge a difference tires make until you get a REALLY good set...

I just got a really good set on the ram and its honestly a new truck....rides so much better...much more grip...feels more stable...lots of important things...

and feeling safe is key so good choice on the RF's

Why thank you sir! I am definitely excited. I HATE the Goodyears. Such a crappy tire. I used to have Michelin PS2's on my M3, so I'm definitely used to a good tire, so I'm excited to get that back! :)

you think the goodyears are bad. i purchased a set of us wheels with a set of bridgestone turanza on them and those tires have no grip what so ever and like you i run michelin ps2's on my mercedes c class so i am used to a good tire also. just now i have to be picky since not all the good tire companies make 22x9.5 and 22x10.5 tires. i might go with pirelli though since they have a match for my car. ill need it after the vortech too, that is for sure.

    No Way!!!

Stock tires are 36 front/40 rears........trust me they are NOT 33lbs!!! The comfort and tire width are well worth the 18lbs!!

Verdstein I think is the name.

I would only go Michelins or the Bridgestones.....but that is just me.
