That's something for the QC owners to get back to you on (Wazzsup? Jake?). Gear ratios for the beefed-up 48RE automatic in the QC's are: - 1st = 2.45:1 - 2nd = 1.45:1 - 3rd = 1.00:1 - 4th = 0.69:1 - REV = 2.20:1 Gear ratios for the Tremec T-56 6-speed found in the RC's are: - 1st = 2.66:1 - 2nd = 1.78:1 - 3rd = 1.30:1 - 4th = 1.00:1 - 5th = 0.74:1 - 6th = 0.50:1 - REV = 2.90:1 That's about all I can get ya right now without talking to Tom or Jake.
Larry- I got this notice when I clicked on your link: "Reported Attack Site! Not getting any messages on my end.....but not to take any chances I will change the link to another calculator site...thanks Kevin..
Larry- cool calculator, but I didn't see the 48RE transmission in their listing. Did I miss something? 4th in a 48RE is 0.69:1. I used 0.71:1 as a gear ratio and got 1963.23 RPM's @ 65mph. Not exact, but pretty close.
For some reason it wont allow you to type in .69...when you do it changes to .71.......but it should be within 200RPM..........here is another site with more calculators.. http://www.currieenterprises.com/cestore/calculators.aspx#? ..
