After some thought, I offer these 5 in no particular order:

    1. '57 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa
    2. '93 - '98 McClaren F1 Coupe
    3. '24 Bugatti T35
    4. '52 - '63 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing Coupe
    5. '88 - '90 Lamborghini QV5000 Countach (Anniversary Edition)

My personal faves of the muscle car era? In no particular order:

    1. 1971 Challenger 440 Six Pack
    2. 1970 Chevrolet LS6 Chevelle SS
    3. 1970 Plymouth 440 GTX
    4. 1969 Chevrolet 396 NovaSS
    5. 1971 Buick GS455 Stage 1

Now, if I only had a garage big enough for 1 of each!!!

Tough sticking to just 5, I'm excluding the obvious vote(s) for current LX's

    Audi S8
-Wanted one since I walked out of the theater from seeing Ronin.

1973 Trans Am - Red, Bird on the Hood, SD 455, 4 sp trans.
My uncle is the orginal owner of a non-SD. He ordered an SD with Auto, Calif wouldn't let the SD in so he changed to std 455 w/ 4 sp.

1968 Charger 440 Magnum. Green, Black Vinyl top.
Mom's car when I was 2, and the reason I'm addicted to torque. Spent most of my childhood pinned to the seat my mom raced around the back roads of Arkansas.

    87 Buick Grand National GNX
Having worked on imports and eaten a ton of sand out at Palmdale years before anyone thought a honda could be fast or furious, I loved the GNX (all turbo T-types) because it finally opened up some peoples eyes that something besides a 400 cid V8 could kick some ass down the track. The syclone and typhoon get honorable mention...

    McLaren F1
There are a lot of "super cars" that could fit here. I always dug the F1 due to the center seat for the driver. Being borderline OCD being totally symetrical appealled to me and logically speaking, if you're building a car from scratch why not put the driver in the middle. I also liked the McLaren attitude. When people asked them how fast the car was, 0-60, top speed, 1/4 mile, they usually replied with ballpark numbers. "Over 200 mph"... "about 3 seconds"... they built the car to be the ultimate drivers car and whatever performance it happened to have was secondary.

but the 2 out of my list as my favorite cars are
    my skittle

theres just something about a 2.0L 300 hp, NA, 4 cyl 12 to 1 comp ration, wooping up on some BMWs and Honda in the corners

I use to have a 1st gen strat and God i loved that car it handled better than my skittle with the same 2.4 but non turbo

so dont be suprised if i get one again in the near future.

I might just make the skittle just autoX and build the stratus for road

Love you're thinking bro, again I don't know how I missed the McLaren, stupid me, and the GNX's were THE car of the late 80s, totally bad azz in all black!! And I was thinking the same thing after reading maddogs post, not a 57 250 GT but the 61 250 GT California from the Ferris Beuller movie!! :eek:k:
