Here's a video from the dyno tuning session I had today. I just added the Magnaflow high-flo cats and CORSA catback, the tune did require a little tweaking. Turn up the volume!

Oh ya! That sounds nice Eric. Can't wait to hear it at the track! Did you have baseline dyno numbers? If so, how did they compare after this mod?

Kind of a long story Sam.

Unfortunately the answer is I don't know. He probably did 4 or 5 pulls tweaking my tune and it maxed out at 386 rwhp...getting the car hot enough to kick the high speed fans on which I have set at 209 and then an outdoor temp around 75 and a low barometer with rain and a lot of humidity in the area. Then we let the car sit with a couple fans for on it for 45 mins to try a glory pull for the old internet signature which is the one on the video, and his computer that's hooked to the dyno locked up or crashed and we didn't get any numbers for it. Then he just kind of broke it to me that my hour was up and the tune is right so we had to call it a day..I can live with it.

On a cool motor on a 40 degree day in February on the same dyno and tuner but without the CORSA and Magnaflow high-flo cats the car made 386. So I figure I'm up maybe 15-20 hp based on DA and motor temp differences. I'll tell you what, the car DEFINITELY feels stronger after the tune. The strip will tell.

Were you running the stock exhaust beforehand or something?

    Hahahahahahahhahahahhaa!!!!!

Can I take credit for nudging you those first steps towards horsepower mods?

Wasn't it just over a year ago that we got you out to the dragstrip, baby seat and all?

If i recall, you were never modding the family car, right???

    Congrats man!!!

If you give me enough notice, I'll trailer the Camaro down to Cincy to race with you guys on a weekend. Has to be Edgewater though. Tri-State's too short for me.

That's cool. We are at almost identical numbers (387, 384) on the exact same dyno. I have not been back on the dyno since the RDP tune and RDP CAI. We gotta make some runs in October. I'm going to a track rental at NTR on 10/3 if your interested, then another on 10/23 but that one is farther away from you and sold out right now. Let me when you guys are going to run down in the Cinti area.

Yes, just had the stock exhaust before.

Lol - you aren't kidding bro, I remember rolling into Indy for my first bracket race with you with the first mod in the trunk, the AFE intake. You definitely got me started, and Mike COMP T/A hasn't been a help :) Yes though, this is the frist car I've ever drag raced...and the baby seat does have a SRT8 logo on it now so it's race ready too:)

Now I'm telling myself okay, intake/exhaust and a tune...I'm done. Then the heads/cam post will be coming soon, then the blower :)

I'd love to see the Camaro in action, I really wanted to get these mods done before the air gets good...which will start to happen in the next couple weeks I'm sure.

Ya know, you could always run us down with the Vette too. We really like that track in Muncie, that's the place for a personal best if you ask me.

    Eric

Oh yeah, this weekend's air is terrible, but we can hope for a good fall...definitely will be seeing you around!

    Eric

We should be able to get a huge MOPAR group together at least once this fall...it will be a beautiful thing!

Hey - is Muncie good enough for me to run the 1/4 mile? I need to be able to shut down from 150. I don't like gras medians at the top end like at Tri-state.

If you think Muncie's good, I'd love to meet you guys there. Name the date!

I can't say for sure, can you tell in this video?

Doesn't look like there's too much separating the lanes in the slow down area but I cannot remember for sure. Edgewater always works, and your track in Indy too...you just feel cool racing there with the big stands and everything.

I have the EXACT mods and our numbers are within a couple of HP. The sound at 6000 RPMs is incredible!! However, my gas mileage went to chit after adding the Corsa's because I couldn't keep my foot out of it!!

Nice! I think it's a great combo and returns a lot for the money. The sound - yup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For an intake/exhaust/tune it just completely wakes these cars up! Been to the track ever? What times have you turned?

Looks good to me. Lots of space. Some tracks just make slick tire cars go 1/8th (like Tri-state).

    Pick a date - SOON!!!
