    anybody seen book kind of service manuals for the 6.1 hemis

    i cant find them anywhere..and i dont want any cd copies no room in the garage for a computer

    They are available for the LX's, IIRC ~$400.

    I was going to suggest Tech Authority for your OBDII info. Did you check with them?

    While you are at the tech authority site, click the link on the left side of the page that says "Powertrain Controller Module Initialization" and tell me what happens....

    Did that. clicked on the calculator and it brought up a window where I'm guessing you enter the vin and model number of a crossfire or sprinter and you get the initialization string to init the PCM or TCM. I'm going to take a wild guess (without really looking at it) that you would enter the coding string into the starscan to initialize a new PCM or TCM module to tie it to the car you just installed it on?

    That makes sense, but they must have a huge database.
    Did you check with Tech Athority for detailed OBDII info?

    I forgot the LX ones are downloadable free, but no WK free manual.
