Custom Duel Air Intake Boxes...

    Little scientific experiment here......this is just a proto-type setup for now...got more work to do on this...the idea here is that I think cooler air can be drawn from the stock airbox than the center mounted air filter provided with the SC kit...and if one stock air box pulls cooler air then 2 should...well...pull more..;)....I will do some air temp comparisons later.........

    I drove the truck with this setup for the first time today....I raised the hood several minutes after getting back and felt the metal pipes...cool to the touch...

    That looks like a great setup Larry. Did you do the welding yourself?

    I was concerned about that Ron but the AEM Showed 12-13 at WOT...I really cant say the truck felt any stronger but ran at least as good...no trouble breaking the rears loose at 35MPH by just flooring it..

    The only welding was the custom T-pipe coming off the the TB...local muffler shop did it....rest was pre-fab CAI componets from Spectre...
